WEST CHESTER, Pa.-The West Chester University men's soccer team (13-2-1, 11-0-0 PSAC) ranked 16
th in the Coaches Poll and 2
nd in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Poll will host East Stroudsburg in the PSAC semifinals on Friday November 5
th inside Rockwell field getting underway at 11 am on Friday morning.

Tickets to all PSAC tournament games are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Any student from a PSAC member institution with a valid university ID, will be admitted free of charge. There are no complimentary tickets available and only PSAC passes will be honored. Parking for the PSAC tournament will be located in the Ferrell Stadium lot across the street. The small lot located at Rockwell field will be used only for handicapped parking as well as parking for game officials and administration.

West Chester won the regular season title for the first time in program history with a victory over Shippensburg back on October 18
th. This regular season title gave West Chester a bye directly into the PSAC semifinals for the second season in a row. West Chester's 11-0-0 record makes them the first team to go unbeaten and untied in PSAC play in a non-divisional year since East Stroudsburg and Lock Haven did it in 1994 and 1996. Millersville did go unbeaten and untied in the 2008 and 2009 seasons when the PSAC was separated into East and West divisions.

The Golden Rams tangled with East Stroudsburg earlier this season and went on to win by a final score of 2-0 thanks to two goals from Colin Hester.

East Stroudsburg enters off a convincing 3-0 victory over No. 5 Mercyhurst. The Warriors opened the scoring late in the first half when Keebly Espinola converted a header off a free kick to give ESU the 1-0 lead. Eddy Enowbi recorded a goal of his own just 30 seconds into the half to give the Warriors a convincing 2-0 lead. In the 55
th minute Marcus Torgersson took an assist from Christian Bukowski to give East Stroudsburg a convincing 3-0 lead over Mercyhurst. Will Borema stood tall in net making three saves to preserve the shutout and carry No. 4 ESU on to the PSAC semifinals.

 Michael Benn's 2016 squad faced Millersville in the PSAC semifinals a year ago but they eventually fell by a score of 6-1. In spite of this loss West Chester still managed to make an NCAA tournament appearance a year go where they fell to the University of Charleston (Wv.) by a score of 2-0.

th getting underway at 1 pm.

Two impact players to keep an eye on are freshman
Doug Goitia (Mount Pocono, Pa./Pocono Mountain East) who has five goals on the year including two game winners as well as senior
Brett Glasco (West Chester, Pa./ Rustin) who has four goals and two assists on the year.

Dating back to 2002 West Chester holds a 2-9-1 record in its previous 12 appearances in the PSAC tournament. West Chester played for the conference title just once back in 2004 since the tournament began in 1969. The Golden Rams have never won a PSAC tournament championship in their team history.
