Final Results
ERIE, Pa. – West Chester's women's tennis resumed action on day two of the ITA Atlantic Region Individual Championships in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Singles
- West Chester's Leandra Roelker (A draw) claimed an 8-3 victory to beat West Liberty. Roelker went on to defeat another West Liberty opponent, but this time 8-4. She carried that moment to advance to the A consolation draw final where she ultimately lost to IUP's Luise von Agris, 8-0.
- Meanwhile, Elaina Rochford advanced to the semifinals of the B draw with an 8-6 victory over Edinboro. She eventually fell in the semifinals 8-4.
- In the quarter final for the A draw, Shannon Nixon fell 8-3 to her opponent from Slippery Rock.
- Reaching the quarters in the B draw were Gracyn Towler as well as Julia Mowry. Towler captured the victory 8-4, while Mowry dropped a tough one 8-1.
Doubles
- In the A draw, Rylee Power and Nixon dropped a tough one to the University of Charleston 7-5.
- In the B draw, the duo of Rochford and Roelker were able to down West Liberty's pair 8-2. However, after advancing they fell to a different duo from West Liberty 8-5.
