WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University's women's volleyball squad got its first look and feel of the team's new home on Thursday afternoon when the Golden Rams practiced on the court laid down inside Gym 4 of Sturzebecker Health Science Center. The Golden Rams host the Cal Vulcans on Friday night at 7 p.m. and then Seton Hill on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
A burst pipe inside Hollinger Field House flooded the court floor, leaving it unplayable. The court had to be torn up and discarded. Hollinger Field House will be off line until mid November, making Sturzebecker HSC the 2017 home for West Chester women's volleyball.
