LAKELAND, Fla. - West Chester University's women's tennis squad dropped a 7-0 decision to 9th-ranked Florida Southern in a non-league tennis match Monday afternoon during the team's spring break trip.
West Chester (2-3) fought hard. However, Florida Southern (9-0) remained unbeaten on the season.
Rylee Power (Newtown Square, Pa./Marple-Newtown) dropped straight sets, 6-3, 6-2 at first singles.
West Chester will be back in action on Thursday against Warner University in the team's final action of its spring break trip.
