ERIE, Pa. – Seventh-ranked West Chester held host Gannon scoreless after halftime while three players registered a hat trick as the Golden Rams topped the Golden Knights, 21-3, in a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) women's lacrosse match Saturday afternoon.
Â
West Chester (9-2, 5-1 PSAC) ran out to a 12-3 lead by the break, and then scored nine unanswered goals to put Gannon (2-8, 0-6) away for good in the second half.
Â
Ryan McKinney (Downingtown, Pa./Downintown West),
Emily Schulze (Harleysville, Pa./North Penn) and

Â
McKinney and
Tatum Altman (North Brunswick, N.J./North Brunswick) each potted a pair of goals during an eight-goal outburst in the first half that broke a 1-all tie and put the Golden Rams in command, 9-1.
