WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University volleyball dominated the Ram Fest Tournament in Hollinger Field House on Friday and Saturday, beginning the season with a 4-0 record.
 
The Golden Rams defeated Goldey Beacom twice and Holy Family once. Then they capped off the tournament with a 25-15, 25-19, 25-17 sweep of Pace University.
 
Sophomore
 Grace Whitney (Glenside, Pa. / Abington) recorded team highs with 10 kills and seven total blocks against the Setters. Whitney had a .533 hitting percentage in the match.
 
Olivia Rudjord (Fogelsville, Pa. / Allentown Central Catholic), also a sophomore, amassed eight kills and hit .353 her team's fourth straight victory. She also totaled four block assists.
 
Freshman 
Jillian Borgerding (Highlands Ranch, Colo. / Highlands Ranch) eclipsed 30 assists for the third time in the four matches with 33 against Pace. She earned seven digs against the Setters as well.
 
West Chester held Pace to a .000 hitting percentage. In their first four matches, the Golden Rams only lost one set and have forced their opponents to hit .006.
 
The Golden Rams have another home match on Tuesday at 6 p.m. against University of the Sciences.
