Men’s Basketball To Host Lock Haven In PSAC Tournament Monday At 7 P.M.

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University men's basketball will face Lock Haven University in the first round of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Tournament at Hollinger Field House on Monday at 7 p.m.
 
The Golden Rams enter the postseason as the third place team out of the PSAC East Division with a 19-9 overall record and 13-9 record in conference games. Their leading scorers are freshman guard Robbie Heath (Whittlesea, Australia / Abington) and senior guard Malik Jackson (Lansdowne, Pa. / Penn Wood) at 24.4 points per game and 17.7, respectively. Heath has 659 points this season, which is a West Chester and PSAC freshman single-season record. Jackson's 1,786 career points and 293 three-pointers rank fourth and second in school history.
 
The Bald Eagles took sixth place in the PSAC East to sneak into the tournament with a 12-14 overall record and 9-13 conference record. Lock Haven's top scorer is senior guard Christian Kelly (Phoenixville, Pa. / Phoenixville) at 20.8 points per game.
 
The teams split two meetings this season. Lock Haven beat West Chester 89-84 on January 15, and West Chester beat Lock Haven 98-83 on February 22. The winner of this third matchup will advance to the PSAC quarterfinals to face second-place East Stroudsburg University in East Stroudsburg, Pa.
 
Tickets are 10 dollars for adults and five dollars for students. Admission is free for students from PSAC institutions with a valid I.D. There are no complimentary tickets offered for any PSAC Tournament game. All tickets will be sold at the door and are cash only. Doors open at 6 p.m. sharp.

PARKING MAP - Sharpless Street Garage will be the best option, and it becomes free 90 minutes prior to game time and remains open well after the men's game ends. The men's game begins at 7:30 p.m.
