WEST CHESTER, PA. - On Saturday afternoon West Chester University women's track and field team competed in the WCU Last Chance Meet. The Golden Rams competed against The College of New Jersey, Shippensburg University, East Stroudsburg University, and Kutztown University.
Sophomore
Zhayria Washington (West Chester, Pa./ West Chester Rustin) placed first in the discus throw with a 40.28m mark. Washington also took fifth place in the shot put with a 11.73m throw.
Freshman
Allison Myers (Dallastown, Pa./Dallastown) took first place in the 1500m run with a four minute and 58 second time.
In the pole vault, junior
Corah Krantz (Mayfield, Pa./Lakeland) finished second with a 3.58m mark.
Sophomore
Jordan Walk (Morgantown, Pa./Twin Valley) received fifth place in both the long jump and triple jump. Walk 4.86m mark on the long jump and 9.74m mark in the triple jump event.
For the javelin throw, Freshman
Emma Urbine (Quarryville, Pa./Solanco) finished third with a 31.42m throw.
The Golden Rams took second place in the 4x100m relay (50.39) and third in the 4x400m relay (4:11.52).
