SEATTLE, WA – New Team. New Faces. Same Dream. One year removed from the squad that went 12-5-3, but fell short in the regional final, West Chester University has built upon those lessons learned and turned them into a No. 2 ranking in the regular-season coaches polls and the top seed at the national semifinals in 2022.
West Chester (22-0-1) takes on Ferris State (12-5-7) Thursday evening at 8 p.m. EST at Interbay Stadium in Seattle, Wash., for the right to play for the national championship on Saturday. Thursday's semifinal is the first meeting between the two schools.
Ticket information, directions and GPS addresses for the venue and much more is all available at this LINK. For fans in the West Chester unable to make the trip to Seattle to support the Golden Rams, Barnaby's in West Chester will also be hosting a Watch Party, giving fans the chance to watch all the action alongside fellow Golden Ram fans.
The Golden Rams haven't delved this far into the national tournament since 2006. That was different head coach ago. West Chester lost to Metro State (Colo.) 2-1 in overtime that time. However, this year's squad comes in as the favorite with that No. 1 seed next to its name. How each team handles the pressure and the weather conditions in the Pacific Northwest will be telling signs to who winds up in the championship game.
