Women's Track and Field Finishes 11th at PSAC Outdoor Championships; Urbine Sets Program Record in Javelin

MILLERSVILLE, Pa.- The West Chester women's track and field squad returned to action on Saturday afternoon for the third and final day of the 2022 PSAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Millersville University. West Chester finished 11th with 31.33 points, while host Millersville took home the crown with a total of 113 points, with Slippery Rock finishing second with 93.33 points.  

Emma Urbine (Quarryville, Pa./Solanco) registered the top individual finish of any of the Golden Rams on Saturday afternoon, finishing sixth with a mark of 131 feet 3 inches, which is a new personal-best mark and serves as a new program record for the Golden Rams.

Fresh off her victory in the 3K-Steeplechase yesterday evening, Sarah Supplee (Orefield, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) competed in the 1500, finishing eighth with a time of 4 minutes and 49.70 seconds to secure another point for West Chester.

Fellow PSAC Champion, Maddie James (York, Pa./York Suburban), who secured a PSAC crown in the Heptathlon on Friday night, returned to action on Saturday and finished in a tie for eighth in the high jump with a mark of 5-0 ½.

In the triple jump, Katie Pieslak was ninth with a mark of 35-2 ½.
