West Chester Men's Soccer Seeks Part-Time Assistant Coach

This is a position within the Division of Student Affairs, awarded as one of the "Most Promising Places to Work in Student Affairs" by Diverse: Issues in Higher Education for the second year in a row.

WCU serves approximately 17,000 students at the undergraduate and graduate levels, 23% identify as Hispanic/Latino, Black, Asian, and Native American Indian nations, and 24% are eligible for Pell grants. The successful candidate will be responsible in assisting the head men's soccer coach in fulfilling all responsibilities associated with successful coaching at the college level.

Responsibilities include:

• Identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes 
• Scheduling and organization of practice sessions
• Game day coaching
• Assisting with the management of equipment, team travel, and budget
• Alumni relations and fundraising
• Running camps & clinics
• Video breakdown

• Bachelor's degree
• Collegiate or professional soccer playing experience

• Previous collegiate, high school, or club-level soccer coaching experience
• A background and experience in summer camp/clinic operations
• Knowledge of and conformity to NCAA rules

The salary for this position is $6,875.00.
