MEET RESULTS
WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester won three of the four events en route to a 193.875-191.875 victory over visiting Cornell University on Senior Night inside Sturzebecker Health Science Center in the regular-season finale for the Golden Rams.
Sarah Eskew (Pittsburgh, Pa.) tied for first place on the vault with a score of 9.725 – just missing her career high. Meanwhile, teammate
Shannon Carroll (Kingston, N.H.) easily outdid her personal best on the vault, finishing in a tie for fourth with a 9.675.
Eskew followed up that performance on the vault with a second-place effort on the uneven bars (9.7).
Jordan Coleman (Bowie, Md.) won the bars with a 9.8 while
Lauren Wicker (East Berlin, Pa.) was third.
Lily McFarland (Baltimore, Md.) and
Caitlyn Allen (Forest Hill, Md.) were the top two performers on the balance beam. McFarland won the event with a 9.825 while Allen posted a 9.775.
Madison Whitaker (Lancaster, Pa.) was fourth with a 9.725.
McKenna Kissinger (Chambersburg, Pa.) won the floor exercise with a 9.825.
Rose Fanara (Fredericksburg, Va.) and
Caroline Cascadden (Ashburn, Va.) were third and fourth, respectively, with a 9.775 and 9.75.
West Chester now prepares for the 2023 Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) Championships, which will be held next Saturday inside Kaplan Arena on the campus of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
