WEST CHESTER, PA – Sophomore
Jordan Coleman (Bowie, Md.) was named Gymnastics East Conference Specialist of the Week it was announced Wednesday afternoon.
Coleman becomes the third Golden Rams gymnast honored in the weekly awards, joining
Rose Fanara and
McKenna Kissinger. Fanara was co-specialist of the week in the first week of the season while Kissinger was co-gymnast of the week two weeks ago.
Coleman tied her career high of a 9.85 for the second week in a row in a quad meet against Temple, Towson and Maryland with her uneven bars routine, which she finished with her sixth stuck landing of the season. Coleman has continued to focus on small details and has gained great confidence in her bar routine this year, allowing her to step into the anchor position for the Golden Rams.
Coleman and the Golden Rams close out their 2023 regular season slate on Friday at home on Senior Night against GEC foe Cornell University at 7 p.m. inside Sturzebecker Health Science Center.
