Evan Profy (Croydon, Pa./Harry S. Truman) and 
Corey Stouffer (Souderton, Pa./North Penn) collected six of West Chester's seven hits, but it was not enough as No. 16 Seton Hill downed the Golden Rams, 10-0, in the PSAC Championship Game at Jack Critchfield Park Saturday.
 
West Chester (31-18) managed just seven hits against Seton Hill (44-10) which scored 10 runs on 14 hits to end the game in the eighth inning.
 
Seton Hill plated four runs in the top of the second to chase West Chester starter 
Julian Costa (Mantua, N.J./Clearview) (5-2). The Griffins tacked on one in the fourth, three more in the fifth and one in the sixth, before ending the game in the eighth with a run that gave them a 10-run lead.
 
Zack Miles was 0-for-3 on Saturday. However, he finished the PSAC Tournament an astounding 11-for-16, hitting .687 over the five games. 
Luke Cantwell hit three home runs in the tournament and knocked in six.
 
West Chester will now wait until 11 p.m. on Sunday night to see if its season continues in the NCAA Tournament. Seton Hill earned the league's automatic bid. The Griffins were ranked second in last week's regional ranking. It is expected they will either stay put, or move up to the No. 1 spot in the region and host one of two pods next weekend to open the NCAA Division II Baseball Tournament. The Golden Rams were ranked fifth in last week's poll. They are expected to earn one of the seven spots in the regional.
