LOCK HAVEN, PA –
Kristina Tapia (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) earned all-region accolades to lead the Golden Rams to a 13th-place showing overall at the 2024 NCAA Women's Cross Country Atlantic Regional Saturday morning at the West Branch Cross Country Course at Lock Haven University.
Tapia finished 16th individually, covering the 6K course in 21 minutes, 42.2 seconds. By virtue of her Top 25 finish, she was named a U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country all-region selection. Davis & Elkins captured the Atlantic Regional team title while Slippery Rock was runner-up and East Stroudsburg third.
Ellie Goldberg (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) placed 73rd in 22:57.5 while
Jessalyn Welch (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro) was 77th in 22:58.4.
Taylor Atkinson (Hummelstown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) placed 92nd in 23:22.4.
