SHIPPENSBURG, PA – West Chester dropped a doubleheader to Shippensburg Saturday by scores of 6-2 and 3-2 at Fairchild Field.
West Chester (10-5, 3-5 PSAC East) will need to regroup before Tuesday's Bill Giles Classic first round contest at Wilmington. Shippensburg (12-6, 6-2) has now won five of its last six.

Zack Miles (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) doubled in the seventh and scored that run on a sacrifice fly by
Joe Kaleck (Southampton, Pa./Neshaminy). Miles finished game two 3-for-3 at the plate.
In the opener, West Chester mustered just four hits in taking a 6-2 loss. The Golden Rams took an early 1-0 lead in the first. However, Shippensburg answered with three in the third and two in the fourth. When West Chester got one more in the top of the fifth, the Raiders answered right back with one of its own to make it 6-2.
