WEST CHESTER, PA – Host West Chester picked up a doubleheader sweep over visiting Lock Haven Monday at Serpico Stadium to hold serve in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Eastern Division with a four-game series sweep of the Bald Eagles.
For West Chester (14-5-1, 7-5 PSAC East) it marked the first four-game sweep of a season series with Lock Haven (6-17, 3-9) since 2019.

Julian Costa (Mantua, N.J./Clearview), tossed a complete game, six-hitter, yielding just one unearned run. He struck out two and did not walk a batter. Game two starter,
Nick Noga (Avondale, Pa./Avon Grove) last four innings, surrendering two runs, only one of them earned, on five hits. He struck out seven and did not walk a batter.
West Chester used a five-run fourth inning to break a 2-2 tie and take the nightcap by the measure of 8-4. In game one, it was a four-run sixth that broke open a 3-1 ballgame as the home team cruised to a 7-1 triumph.
John DeMucci (Swarthmore, Pa./Msgr. Bonner & Prendie) went 3-for-4 with three RBI in the second game while
Darius Troche (Shillington, Pa./Gov. Mifflin) hit his second home run of the season. Leadoff hitter,
Evan Profy (Croydon, Pa./Harry S. Truman), stole three bases in the second game. He was 2-for-3 with a pair of runs scored and a RBI in the opener.
Anthony Boccio (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) went 2-for-3 with a triple and a pair of RBI in game one. He was 3-for-6 combined in the doubleheader.
Avery Spencer (Pottsgrove, Pa./Pottsgrove) went 2-for-2 with a pair of doubles in game one as well.
West Chester steps out of conference play on Wednesday for a single contest against Pace University at Serpico Stadium beginning at 3 p.m. Then, the Golden Rams will visit Chestnut Hill on Friday in a doubleheader and host D'Youville on Saturday in another twinbill before Easter.
