BLOOMSBURG, Pa.- Delaney Tingle (Charlotte, N.C./Palm Desert High) continued her march through the ITA Atlantic Regional on Saturday morning with a 6-4, 6-2 victory in the Round of 32 over Maria Diletto Mungo of California to advance to the Round of 16.
With her victory over Mungo, Tingle is the first Golden Ram to advance to the Round of 16 since Elaina Lee in 2019.
Looking to become the first West Chester quarterfinalist since Rylee Power, Tingle squared off against Lieselotte Hartlohner of IUP, falling by a final of 6-2, 6-1, coming up just short of a spot in the Quarterfinals on Sunday.
West Chester will return to action on September 24 at home against Chestnut Hill beginning at 3:30 p.m.
