For Delaney Tingle (Charlotte, N.C./Palm Desert High), Alexandra Cave (Greenmeadows Napier, New Zealand/Woodford House), Gabrielle Lerario Dos Santos (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Dante Alighieri), and Ashleigh Grooms (Newport, Ky./The Summit Country Day School) tomorrow will be the second action of 2024 as the quartet began their 2024-25 seasons in Bloomsburg two weeks ago at the ITA Atlantic Regional Tournament. Tingle advanced to the Round of 16 in singles play, becoming the first Golden Ram to do so since Elaina Lee in 2019, while also advancing alongside Cave to the second round of the doubles tournament before falling to a duo from the University of Charleston (W.V.).
Roster Check
Tingle and Grooms are both returning all-league selections for West Chester from a year ago, while Lerario Dos Santos, Rachel Haupt (York, Pa./York Suburban), Felicia Manful (Berwyn, Pa./Conestoga), Ellie Perrin (Chalfont, Pa./C.B. South), Sohana Thompson (Fairfield, Oh/The Seven Hills School), and Adlena Washington-Brown (Hatfield, Pa./North Penn) add important veteran experience to the West Chester roster. Cave is the lone newcomer in 2024-25, joining the Golden Rams from New Zealand ahead of the new season.
