Last Time Out

Tuesday will be the Golden Rams' first dual match of the season as the team's season opener vs Albright, scheduled for earlier in September, was postponed due to rain. West Chester was in action last week at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championships with two singles and two doubles tandems to open their seasons. In doubles play, Delaney Tingle and Alexandra Cave dropped their match by an 8-2 final, while Sohana Thompson and Ashleigh Grooms won their opening match by an 8-5 final over a duo from West Liberty. Grooms and Tingle were also in competition in singles play later on Thursday. Tingle dropped her singles match by a 6-3, 7-6 (7-3) final, while Grooms was forced to retire due to injury midway through her opening singles match. This also led to the duo of Grooms and Thompson being forced to withdraw from the doubles competition.

Scouting Chestnut Hill

Chestnut Hill heads into the week at 3-4 overall and 2-4 in CACC play after falling to Wilmington last Thursday by a 4-3 final after defeating Post on September 30. The Griffins are slated to open the second half of CACC play vs city-rival Jefferson on Wednesday at 2 p.m. if Mother Nature chooses to cooperate.
