WEST CHESTER, Pa- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's tennis All-Conference teams on Thursday afternoon and West Chester was well represented as
Delaney Tingle (Charlotte, N.C./Palm Desert High) was named First Team All-League at singles and
Alex Cave (Greenmeadows Napier, New Zealand/Woodford House) earned Second Team singles honors, while the duo of Tingle and
Brigitte Gravelle (Toronto, Canada/ESC Pere-Philippe Lamarche) earned Second Team doubles honors.
Tingle enjoyed a strong season at first singles as she went 8-9 overall and 4-1 in league play, as she helped West Chester return to the PSAC Quarterfinals for the 11
th time under head coach
Tina Tharp.
Cave enjoyed a strong sophomore season for West Chester in the fourth singles position as she went 5-0 in league matches and 8-6 overall, while also going 1-1 in third singles play in non-league matches to finish her sophomore campaign at 9-7 in singles play.
Gravelle and Tingle were an excellent doubles pairing throughout the spring season, going 7-4 as a duo, including a 5-4 mark in first doubles and a record of 2-0 in second doubles play, including a mark of 2-3 in first doubles matches against PSAC East competition.
Nicole Ilkvoic of Bloomsburg earned Player of the Year honors, while Marian Hayes of Millersville was named the Freshman of the Year, and Troy Haas of East Stroudsburg earned Coach of the Year recognition.
