Day One Results
BETHLEHEM, Pa.- After opening its day on the track with a fourth-place finish in the Distance Medley Relay in 10 minutes and 19.12 seconds, the West Chester University men's track and field team is eighth in the team standings with five points to its name after the opening day of the 2025 PSAC Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa./Council Rock North) just missed a podium finish in the weight throw with a mark of 50 feet 3 ¼ inches (15.32m).
Sammy Jenkins (Malvern, Pa./Conestoga) took 10
th in the pole vault with a mark of 13-9 ¼ (4.35m).
Chase Hildreband (Chalfont, Pa./C.B. South) is currently 13
th in the men's hepthatlon with a score of 1,722 points after the first day of competition with three events remaining tomorrow. Hildreband's top finish so far is a sixth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles in 7.20 seconds.
West Chester scored five early points on the track in the distance medley relay, finishing in fourth in a time of 10:19.12.
Damian Simpson (Easton, Pa./Wilson) punched his ticket to the Sunday finals in the 60-meter dash, finishing sixth in 6.88 seconds.
Chase Parkinson (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) took 12
th in the long jump with a mark of 22-1 (6.73m).
West Chester will be back in action tomorrow at Lehigh for the second and final day of the 2025 Championships.
