ORLANDO, Fl.- After a long day of weather delays and a number of lengthy matches, the West Chester University women's tennis team (1-4) emerged victorious over Winona State (3-5) on Monday night by a 5-1 margin.
Delaney Tingle and Alexandra Cave won their first doubles match, but Winona State captured second and third doubles to take an early 1-0 lead in the match heading into singles play.
West Chester won five singles matches to win the match 5-1. The only match the Golden Rams did not capture in singles play was the fifth singles match, which went unfinished because the outcome was decided before that match was complete.
