West Chester stepped out of PSAC East play on Tuesday to take on No. 48 Goldey-Beacom in a non-league clash on South Campus. West Chester won the doubles point behind first and third doubles victories from the duos of Delaney Tingle and Alexandra Cave and Sohana Thompson and Ashleigh Grooms to take a 1-0 lead in the match. Thompson earned the lone singles victory of the match for West Chester despite sending four of the other five matches to a decisive third set.

Scouting Salem
Salem enters Thursday at 5-3 on the year after a 2-1 trip to South Carolina last week, which included a 5-2 loss to Lafayette on Monday before a 5-2 win over DePauw on Wednesday and a 4-3 win over Kalamazoo on Thursday. Dasha and Kate Korsakova were unbeaten in singles play last week, while Kylie Diaz also went 2-1 with wins over DePauw and Kalamazoo.
Salem is 3-0 against PSAC East foes this year, including 4-3 wins over Millersville and Bloomsburg and a 7-0 win over Shippensburg, while going 3-1 against PSAC competition as a whole, with a 6-1 loss to Slippery Rock in early March.
