Kozicki and McTamney Named First Team All-PSAC East

LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- tHE The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's basketball All-Conference honorees on Friday afternoon, and Michelle Kozicki (Wilmington, Del./Padua) and Anna McTamney (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) secured First Team All-League honors.

Kozicki and McTamney collected All-League citations for the third time in as many seasons. However, they are both making their first appearance on the First Team All-League squad after earning Second Team honors in 2022-23 and 23-24.

Kozick, the 2023 Defensive Player of the Year, turned in another outstanding season in 2024-25, ending the regular season averaging 20.8 points and 10.6 rebounds per game with 18 double-doubles to her name, including three in the last four games of the regular season.

Kozicki ended the regular season second in the PSAC in scoring and within the top five in the league in rebounding, scoring 581 points in the regular season, which ranked second in single-season team history entering the PSAC Tournament. Kozicki opened the PSAC Tournament with a 23-point effort in a win over Millersville in the First Round on Monday night and, in doing so, became the first Golden Ram to eclipse 600 points in a single season since Mitzi Reitnouer did so in 1981-82 when she scored 698 points in 29 games. With this number in mind, it is unsurprising that Kozicki has scored in double figures in every game this season, including a pair of 35-point games and 18 games with 20 points or more. Kozicki is one of three Golden Rams in team history to score 35 points or more in a single game twice in the same season, joining Reitnouer, who did so three times in 1981-82 and 2024 PSAC East Player of the Year, Leah Johnson who did so twice in 2022-23, including her single-game record 44 in the NCAA Tournament vs California (Pa.).

Thanks in part to her 312 rebounds this season, Kozicki is third in the NCAA and second in the PSAC in double-doubles, while her 800 career rebounds is the fourth most in team history and the most since Alexandra Lennon secured 734 from 2009-13. Kozicki also averages 1.7 assists per game and has logged 56 steals and 32 blocks on the season.

McTamney joins Kozicki on the First Team All-League squad after starting her Golden Ram with back-to-back Second Team All-League honors. McTamney ended the regular season, averaging 15.2 points per game, which ranked her in the top-10 in the league in scoring throughout the season. Residing in the top-10 on the league scoring chart with Kozicki, McTamney helped make West Chester the only team in the PSAC to consistently have two players in top-10 in the league in scoring and the lone PSAC East team with this phenomenon. McTamney started her PSAC Tournament with an 18-point effort at Millersville in the First Round of the Tournament on Monday night and has scored in double figures in 25 of 29 games in what will likely be her final season as a Golden Ram. In addition to her scoring, McTamney has averaged 6.4 rebounds per game throughout much of the season, setting a new career high for rebounds in a season with 185, while her 57 assists is also a new season career high. The senior has four double-doubles on the year, including back-to-back double-doubles vs Bloomsburg and at Millersville on January 25 and 29, as she finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds along with 20 points and 11 rebounds in those two games.
