Last Time Out
Lily McFarland (Baltimore, Md.) won the beam and floor with a pair of 9.800’s and Rylee Harada (Runnemede, N.J.) captured the vault with a 9.675, but it was not enough to help West Chester pull off a Senior Day victory over Alaska, falling by a 192.250-190.575 final. EmmaGrace Kelly (Bradenton, Fl.) and Macarthy Keane (Trumbull, Ct.) tied for second on beam with 9.750 to help West Chester score a 48.525 on this event. West Chester also scored a 48.575 on the floor as McFarland and Kelly tied for first in this event, while Cat Keener (Holly Springs, N.C.) and Caroline Cascadden (Ashburn, Va.) finished in a tie for fourth with 9.750s. West Chester had an uncharacteristically tricky day of bars on Friday night, but Jordan Coleman (Bowie, Md.) continued to lead the way, finishing fourth with a 9.625.
For Alaska-Anchorage, Maribelle Albert tied with Harada atop the podium on vault with a 9.675, while Montana Fairbairn was third with a 9.65. Alaska swept the top three spots on the uneven bars, led by a 9.725 from Claudia Lessig and a 9.700 from Jamilia Duffus, while Hannah Boyd was a close third with a 9.675. Lessig and Verena Wong also tied for second with Kelly on beam with 9.750s, while Fairbairn finished third on the floor with a 9.775.
