LEWISBURG, Pa.-The West Chester University men's track and field squad continued its busy weekend on day two of the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic in Lewisburg.
Amanda Marquis is 11
th after the first day of competition in the women's heptathlon with 2227 points, led by a third-place finish in the 200 in 25.73 seconds, which netted her 822 points. Marquis also took 11
th in the 100 hurdles in 16.25 seconds, 11
th in the high jump with a mark of 4-2 (1.36m) and 12
th in the shot put with a mark of 25-5 1/2 (7.76m). Marquis will be back in action tomorrow for the final three events (long jump, javelin, and 800).
In the pole vault,
Emily Donegan tied for third with a mark of 11-6 ¼ (3.51m), while
Annika Hummel was fourth in the invite pole vault, clearing a mark of 12-2 (3.71m).
Morgan Pera led the Golden Rams in the 100 hurldes with a 31
st-place finish in 15.20 seconds.
Rebekah Burnshaw led the Golden Rams in the 400 with a time of 1:00.37.
West Chester finished its day with in the 4x400 relay with a 20
th-place finish in 4:14.44.
The Golden Rams will conclude their stay at Bucknell tomorrow ahead of the Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener next weekend.
