Women's Tennis to Visit Kutztown on Wednesday Afternoon

KUTZTOWN, Pa.- The West Chester University women's tennis team (4-13, 0-3) is preparing for its final three matches of the 2024-25 campaign, beginning with a visit to Kutztown (5-9, 2-2) on Wednesday afternoon at 2 p.m.

West Chester will return to the court for the first time since a 7-0 home loss to Slippery Rock on Sunday, April 13, which prevented a winning streak as the Golden Rams had earned an important 4-3 road victory over the University of the District of Columbia back on April 9.

Scouting Kutztown

Kutztown (5-9, 2-2) enters play on Wednesday after splitting its last four matches, including a 6-1 victory at Shepherd and a 7-0 win over Molloy along with a pair of setbacks against Millersville (5-2) and Bloomsburg (7-0) in between those two victories.

Isabela De Nadai and Bieke Roovers led the way in singles play at 12-6 and 10-5, respectively. Nadai is 9-3 in third singles play while Rievers is 9-3 at second singles. Emma Semery is 6-11 in singles action, including a record of 4-8 at first singles.

In doubles play, Semery is a combined 7-7 between multiple partners, with records of 4-4 in first doubles and 3-3 in second doubles, while de Nadai is 6-8, with a record of 4-5 at first doubles and 2-3 at second doubles. Roovers is 5 -8 in doubles play, including a record of 3-5 in first doubles and 2-3 in second doubles action.
