WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's tennis team (6-13, 2-3) picked up its second win in as many tries with a dominant 6-1 win over Shippensburg (8-12, 1-4) on Friday afternoon in West Chester.
The Golden Rams started the match with first and second doubles victories from the duos of

Alexandra Cave and
Sohana Thompson/
Ashleigh Grooms by 6-2 and 6-0 finals to take an early 1-0 lead in the match.
In singles play, West Chester won first through fifth singles in straight sets while dropping sixth singles although this setback was inconsequential as West Chester prevailed by a 6-1 final.
