PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The West Chester University women's track and field squad was back in action on Friday at the 129
th Penn Relays at Historic Franklin Field at the University of Pennsylvania.
The quartet of Lily Palacio Lewis, Gabby Curtis, Genvieve McDonald, and
Katja Larsen got things started for West Chester on Friday afternoon in the 4x100 relay, placing 19
th in 48.53 seconds.
In the 4x400 relay, West Chester finished 12
th in the eastern division as the quartet of
Amanda Marquis, McDonald, Palacio Lewis, and
Rebekah Burnshaw crossed the line in 3:59.80.
Annika Hummel took 12
th in the pole vault with a height 12 feet (3.66 meters).
West Chester will be back in action tomorrow for the final day of the Penn Relays and at the Paul Kaiser Invitational hosted by Shippensburg.
