PHILADELPHIA, PA – West Chester's 4x100 relay team placed fourth in the College Men's 4x100 relay while also witnessing a nice effort from its men's discus thrower on Saturday afternoon at the 129th Penn Relays Presented by Toyota held inside Historic Franklin Field.
The foursome of
Ronald Leraris (Glen Mills, Pa. Garnet Valley),
Amarre Mayo (Newtown, Pa. Council Rock North),
Nick Tran (Lancaster, Pa. Conestoga Valley) and
Damian Simpson (Easton, Pa./Wilson) posted a time of 42 minutes, 18 seconds in the finals of the 4x100.
Thrower
Derrick Lukomski-Pizzo (Newtown, Pa. Council Rock North) placed fifth in the Discus with a toss of 185 feet, 1 inch. This mark served as new program record and is currently the fourth best mark in Division II entering the final weeks of the 2025 season.
