West Chester enters play following a narrow 4-3 loss at the hands of Bloomsburg on Friday afternoon. Despite a 6-2 win at third doubles by
Sohana Thompson and
Ashleigh Grooms, West Chester dropped the doubles point to trail early in the match.
Delaney Tingle, Grooms, and Gabriella Lerario Dos Santos posted singles wins at first, second, and fourth singles, but it was not enough to come back and defeat the homestanding Huskies on Friday.
The Road Ahead
Following Wednesday's match, West Chester will have six matches remaining on its 2024-25 schedule, including home contests against Edinboro, Slippery Rock, and Shippensburg, along with road trips to Frostburg State, Kutztown, and Shepherd.

Scouting UDC
In the midst of a two-match losing streak, UDC (9-6) enters play on Wednesday in search of its 10
th win of the season. The Firebirds concluded March with a 6-1 loss at Adelphi before falling to New Haven by a 5-2 final on Sunday afternoon. Against New Haven, Desire Parn (6-1, 6-4) and Celia Bastin (6-3, 6-2) posted first and third singles victories for the lone two points of the match after dropping doubles by a 2-1 final to open the match. Polina Zelentsova and Parn also secured a win at first doubles (6-3) to open the match. Originally scheduled to play in October, West Chester will be UDC's second PSAC foe of the season as the team posted a 4-3 win over Millersville in late September in the other meeting against a PSAC East foe.
