Men's Track and Field Finishes Fifth at PSAC Outdoor Championships; Best Team Finish Since 2007

The West Chester University men's track and field squad wrapped up its 2025 PSAC Championships with a host of All-Conference certificates on the final day of competition on Saturday at Slippery Rock. Thanks to a strong first two days and an excellent show of depth on day three, West Chester finished fifth in the team standings with 64 points on the weekend, marking the Golden Rams first top-five team finish at the PSAC Championships since 2007 when the Golden Rams scored 88 points. Since that time, the Golden Rams best finish at the Championships were a pair of sixth-place finishes in 2014 and 2015.

Derrick Lukomski Pizzo took seventh in the shot put with a mark of 52 feet 5 ½ inches (15.99 meters).

Will Rivers earned All-Conference honors in the triple jump with a mark of 48-5 ½ (14.77m), placing second, while Chase Parkinson took fourth with a mark of 47-5 ¾ (14.47m).

West Chester also earned All-League honors in the 4x100 relay, placing second in 40.67 seconds.

Matthew Remishofski picked up an All-League certificate of his own in the 1500, placing third in 3 minutes 54.59 seconds.

David Burnshaw took sixth in the 400 in 48.53 seconds.

Amarre Mayo added an All-League certificate in the 100, finishing third in 10.47 seconds, while placing fourth in the 200 in 21.39 seconds.

Josh Miller narrowly missed his second All-League certificate of the weekend in the 5K, finishing fourth in 15:10.16.
