LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its Women's Golf All-Conference squad on Wednesday afternoon, and
Morgan Kunze (Limerick, Pa./Spring Ford) earned Second Team All-League honors after an excellent 2024-25 season.
Kunze finished seventh at the PSAC Championships with a three-day score of +28 (80, 77, 87; 244) after residing in the top three on the individual leaderboard for much of the weekend.
At the PSAC Championships, Kunze tied with PSAC Champion and Women's Golfer of the Year, Dittie Petersen, for first in the field in birdies with six for the Tournament. Kunze also ranked third in the field in par-four scoring average at 4.40, while tying for second in par-five scoring average at 5.33 for the weekend to help West Chester finish second as a team with a 54-hole score of 986 (328, 320, 328).
Kunze finished her sophomore season with an 82.4 adjusted scoring average and seven top-10 finishes along with a pair of top-three finishes. Kunze finished in the top-10 in four events in a row in the fall, including a second-place finish at the 36-hole Millersville Fall Classic and a third-place showing at the Alvernia Fall Invite before finishing in the top-10 in each of the last three Tournaments of the spring.
Kunze finished fourth at the Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational, sixth at the Adelphi Panther Battle at the Bay, and seventh at the PSAC Championships to conclude her sophomore season.
With this recognition, Kunze is the first Golden Ram to earn All-PSAC honors since Alex Lowder was recognized on the Second Team All-League squad at the end of the 2021-22 season.
