LOCK HAVEN, PA – R-Fr., place-kicker,
Rylan Zuk (Telford, Pa./Souderton), was named the Eastern Division special teams player of the week in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Monday afternoon by that organization.
Zuk kicked three field goals and nailed all three of his extra points to finish with 12 points in West Chester's 30-13 victory over Bentley on the road in the season opener Saturday. He hit field goals of 25-yards, 32-yards and 24-yards, going 3-for-3 on his field goal attempts. He was a perfect 6-for-6 on all of his kicking attempts on Saturday.
It marks the first weekly award for a Golden Rams player this season and the first of Zuk's career, who spent the 2024 campaign red-shirting.
West Chester heads to California, Pa., on Saturday for Week 2 of the college football season.
