West Chester ran its winning streak to three in a row on Tuesday night with a dominant 93-68 win over Kutztown in Hollinger Field House in the final game of a brief two-game homestand. West Chester trailed only briefly and led by as many as 26 late in the second half after holding a 49-32 lead at the half on 48.5 % (16-of-33) shooting from the field in the first 20 minutes. West Chester cooled off a bit in the second half, shooting just 34.4 % (11-of-32), but still finished the game shooting 41.5 % (27-of-65) from the field, including an 8-for-23 (34.8 %) effort from beyond the arc, while also going 31-for-36 (86.1 %) at the line in a game that featured 65 free throws.

Bloomsburg enters play following a loss to East Stroudsburg, which dropped the Huskies to 4-10 overall and 1-6 in league play after opening PSAC East action with a 71-67 victory over Shippensburg on January 7. Bloomsburg was on a modest two-game winning streak entering play on Tuesday after a 73-67 OT victory over former PSAC member Cheyney on Friday night in Nelson Field House. At ESU, Bloomsburg found itself down 63-25 at the half, and despite outscoring the host Warriors 45-43 in the second half, it was not nearly enough to erase the nearly 40-point halftime deficit in a 106-70 loss inside Koehler Field House. George Sabatini led Bloomsburg in scoring with 15 points on 7-of-12 shooting in just 18 minutes as the lone Husky in double figures. Despite the lopsided defeat, Bloomsburg shot 50.9 % (29-of-57) from the field, including an 18-for-33 (54.5 %) effort in the second half after shooting 45.8 % (11-of-24) in the first half. Bloomsburg was 50.0 % (9-for-18) from three-point range, including a 6-for-10 effort in the second half, while also going 3-for-7 (42.9 %) at the line.
