Led by eight early points from Tate, West Chester shot 37.9 % (11-of-29) from the field in the first half, including a 3-for-7 (42.9 %) effort from beyond the arc, while also going 3-for-4 at the free throw line.

Lock Haven shook off its slow start offensively and shot 40.0 % (10-of-25) from the field in the first half, including a 2-for-9 (22.2 %) effort from beyond the arc, while also going 12-for-17 (70.6 %) at the line to take a six-point lead into the halftime break.

West Chester struggled to regain its footing in the third quarter as the Bald Eagles outscored West Chester 24-10 in the frame to carry a 58-38 lead into the fourth as Lock Haven was 6-for-13 (46.2 %) from the field, including 2-for-3 from beyond the arc, while West Chester shot just 30.0 % (3-for-10) and was charged with eight turnovers along with just three rebounds.
