WEST CHESTER, Pa.- After another day of strong performances at the Moravian Hounds Indoor Classic on Saturday at Lehigh University, the West Chester University women's track and field squad is set to return to action this weekend at a pair of meets beginning on Friday at Bucknell. West Chester will have its first split-squad action of 2026 this weekend as a contingent of Golden Rams will head to Bucknell on Friday and Saturday for the Bison Invitational and Multi, while the remainder of the team will compete at the Widener Schuylkill Showcase on Saturday and Sunday, with most of the competition occurring at the Ott Center at the University of Pennsylvania.

Katja Larsen (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) led West Chester in the 60 meters once again with a second-place finish in 7.81 seconds.
Leah Wasko (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe) led the team in the 60-meter hurdles with a fifth-place finish in 9.23 seconds, which was also a new PR.
Cate Hildebrand (Chalfont, Pa./CB South) and Morgan Pera (Center Valley, Pa./Southern Lehigh) finished seventh and eighth in 9.49 and 9.85 seconds, respectively.
Wasko also led West Chester in the triple jump with a third-place finish and a mark of 34 feet 8 ½ inches (10.58 meters).
Genevieve McDonald (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) led West Cheser in the 400 with a fourth-place finish in 1:00.99, while
Abigail Hanneman (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro), Cassie Nugin (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff), and Ember Foster (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita) all finished in the top-10 in 1:01.47, 1:01.92, and 1:02.24, respectively.
McDonald also led West Chester in the 200 with a time of 26.40 seconds to place third.
West Chester wrapped up its day on the track with second and fourth place finishes in the 4x400 with times of 4:14.22 and 4:24.28, respectively.
Emma Deyarmin (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) led West Chester in the shot put with a sixth-place finish and a mark of 37-1 ¾ (11.32m). Deyarmin also led West Chester in the weight throw with a mark of 43-11 ¼ (13.39m).
Hannah LaFave (Spring Brook Township, PA./North Pocono) led West Chester in the pole vault with a mark of 10-10 ¾ (3.32m) to finish third, followed by
Kaylie Groff (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra) in fourth with a mark of 10-4 ¾ (3.17m).
