Five Things to Know
  1. West Chester returns to action on Sunday following a dominant 43-14 victory over Mount St. Mary's in West Chester on October 3 to pick up its first win of the 2026 season. West Chester carried a 36-0 lead into halftime and never wavered, adding another try early in the second half to cruise to the 43-14 win.
  2. Nina McDowell (Mercersburg, Pa./Mercersburg) is first on the team in scoring with two trys and five conversions for 20 points on the year, while Christelle Adikpeto (Abomey Calavi, Benin/Moon Area) is second in scoring with a team-best three trys for 15 points. Addy LaCarrubba (Fairless Hills, Pa./Pennsbury) has two trys of her own for 10 points, with both coming in the win over Mount St. Mary's earlier this month.
  3. West Chester is 3-6-1 against Navy since 2008, including a 22-19 victory in Annapolis in October 2024 to halt a two-match losing streak. The last time Navy visited West Chester was in September of 2022 when the visitors emerged with a 20-10 victory, and the Golden Rams' last home win over the Midshipmen was a 31-30 victory in September 2021.
  4. Navy enters play at 1-3 on the year with a win over Lindenwood in Maryland in late September as the first and lone victory of the fall slate. The Midshipmen have fallen to Brown (33-17), AIC (32-17), and perennial power Harvard (53-26) in other action this fall.
  5. Sunday's match is the penultimate home match of the season for West Chester and its second straight home tilt of October, as the Golden Rams opened October at home against Mount St. Mary's two weeks ago with a win before a well-deserved bye last week. West Chester will wrap its regular season at home against LIU on November 8 at 12 p.m. after visits to La Salle and Frostburg State to finish October.
Up Next

West Chester will return to the road next weekend with a trip to La Salle on Saturday morning before visiting Frostburg State on October 31 to conclude October. West Chester will host LIU for Senior Day in its regular-season finale on November 8 at 12 p.m.
