Ashlyn Wissler (Harrisburg, Pa./Central Dauphin) but Navy scored the lone points of the first half with a 30
th minute try and conversion to take a 7-0 lead into the half.

West Chester continued to threaten and drive deep into Naval Academy territory but the visitors tackling within five meters proved to be the story of the match as the Midshipmen defense held strong each time and turned West Chester away just meters before the try line.
