5 Things to Know: Men's Golf Set for Kyle Ryman Memorial

TIFFIN, Ohio- The West Chester University men's golf team is set to return to the course this week in Ohio for the Kyle Ryman Memorial at Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio.

Five Things to Know
  1. West Chester returns to the course on Monday for the first two rounds of the Kyle Ryman Memorial after placing fifth at the Sunnehanna Collegiate with a 54-hole score of 857 (283, 288, 286). Evan Jozwiak led West Chester in this Tournament with a fourth-place finish at three-under after firing a three-under round of 67 to open the Tournament last week.
  2. Jozwiak's -3 performance, which included his 67 before back-to-back rounds of even-par 70 was powered by 13 birdies, which was second best in the field trailing only Billy Boroughs of Lee, who captured the Individual title with 16 birdies for the week. This effort by Jozwiak led to him earning PSAC Men's Golf Athlete of the Week honors marking the second consecutive week in which the Golden Rams were honored.
  3. West Chester will compete alongside Mount Vernon Nazarene, Findlay, Tiffin, Thomas More, Heidelberg, California, IUP, Walsh, Ohio-Northern, and Pitt-Johnstown this week in Ohio.
  4. West Chester's lineup will include Evan Jozwiak, Nathan Radwanski, Patrick Carl, William Hilton, and Yamato Kimura. Carson Hummer and Vaughn Brodowski will compete as individuals for the Golden Rams this week.
  5. Following last week's fifth-place finish at Sunnehanna, West Chester has placed in the top five of every Tournament it has competed in this fall, including a pair of team titles at the UC Invitational to open the season and the WCU Battlefield Classic.

Following the conclusion of the Kyle Ryman Memorial, West Chester will shift its attention to the PSAC Championships at Iron Valley beginning on October 16.
