West Chester (4-5, 1-4 PSAC East) has an excellent opportunity to pick up a pair of wins in the final two weekends of the season and finish above .500 on the year. Shippensburg (3-6, 1-4) comes calling to Farrell Stadium Saturday as the Golden Rams look to exact revenge on a 43-14 setback last year in Shippensburg. West Chester will close out the regular season next Saturday at Gannon (1-8) at 12 p.m.

Both teams enter Saturday's tilt a little banged up, though that's not uncommon for football teams at this time of year. Both are also coming off heartbreaking losses in last week's contests. The Golden Rams dropped a 22-15 decision at Bloomsburg in overtime while Shippensburg erased an 18-point deficit against Shepherd, but lost that lead in the fourth quarter, falling 35-32 to the Rams at home on Senior Day.

The game features the third-best pass rush in the PSAC as the Raiders have sacked the quarterback 21 times in nine games. Meanwhile, the Golden Rams have yielded just seven sacks in its nine contests. That ranks third in the conference and eighth nationally. West Chester also ranks third in the conference in fewest tackles for a loss allowed (3.78 per game) and 11th in Division II. Shippensburg's Nate Myers ranks third in the league in tackles (81) while teammate Luke Hines ranks fourth in sacks (6.5). They will be the focal point of West Chester's offense in limiting the Raiders' ability to rack up negative yardage plays by the Golden Rams.

West Chester's defense continues to impress through nine weeks. The Golden Rams' stop unit ranks fourth in the league in average yards allowed per game (309.1). They will go up against the PSAC's sixth-ranked offense with the Raiders averaging 358.6 yards per contest. Last week, West Chester surrendered just two scores to Bloomsburg, but could not keep them out of the end zone in the overtime period. The Huskies mustered just 245 yards of total offense in the game.

Shippensburg running back, Andre Weidman, enjoyed a career day against the Golden Rams last fall. The junior rushed for 164 yards and four touchdowns in the Raiders' win. West Chester will need to find a way to stop Weidman this time around. He has 587 yards rushing and six TDs on the season. Raiders' kicker, Wilson Ingerski, has hit from 54 yards and 48 yards this season. He has made four of his last five attempts with the only miss coming from 52 yards. His strong leg gives the Raiders an opportunity to get points almost anywhere past midfield.
