MEET RESULTS
PHILADELPHIA – West Chester posted four season highs and one career high in Sunday's tri-meet at The Palestra with Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) rival Penn and Towson University. The Golden Rams scored a 192.35, which is the second-best team score for West Chester this winter.

Host Penn won the tri-meet with a team score of 195.55. Towson was second with a team score of 194.825.

West Chester opened the meet on the balance beam, an event that the Golden Rams performed well in at home two days earlier, and the purple & gold kept that momentum going on the beam by hitting a season-high score of 48.375 – 0.50 higher than Friday's tri-meet.
EmmaGrace Kelly (Tampa, Fla.) and
Tatum McGuinn (Glen Mills, Pa.), steady stars on the beam all year long, led the way once again with a pair of 9.750 scores that tied them for fifth overall.
Lydia Stoner (Hershey, Pa.) posted a 9.675 while both
Anna Lacey (Bethlehem, Pa.) and
Macarthy Keane (Trumbull, Conn.) scored a 9.600 each. For Keane, that 9.6 was a season-best score on the beam.

Lacey posted West Chester's top score on the floor exercise with a 9.800 in the anchor position and tied for seventh.
Corinne Gruber (Boyertown, Pa.) posted a 9.750 right before Lacey's performance and those two scores lifted the Golden Rams to a 48.250 team mark on the floor. Stoner led off on the floor for the second straight meet and scored a 9.6 while
Aly Sobczak (Pittsgrove, N.J.) also posted a 9.6.
Ziyan Williams (Forsyth County, Ga.) put up a 9.500 in her first time in the scoring lineup. She had a 9.550 in exhibition on the floor Friday night, and coach
Barbara Cordova stuck her in the lineup on Sunday.

West Chester put up a 47.875 on the vault which equaled what they did on Friday evening.
Sarah Eskew (Pittsburgh, Pa.) was the Golden Rams' top performer on the vault with a 9.725.
Ava Griffith (Palm Desert, Calif.) scored a 9.6 while both
Karah Vargo (Fort Myers, Fla.) and
Jaslyn McComeskey (Swarthmore, Pa.) put up 9.550 scores.

Vargo continued her strong showing inside The Palestra with a career-high on the uneven bars scoring a 9.475. That followed up
Maddie McCullough's (Covington Twp., Pa.) 9.625 that led off the Golden Rams on the bars. Eskew posted the Golden Rams' top score with a 9.8 from the anchor position on the bars that tied for third overall. West Chester finished with a team score of 47.85
Hannah Shelton (Nokesville, Va.) put up a season high on the bars with a 9.425.

West Chester will be back in action next Sunday when the Golden Rams travel to Ursinus for a dual meet.
