THE STORYLINE
West Chester University will be looking for a little redemption on Sunday when the Golden Rams visit Ursinus College at 1 p.m. inside Helfferich Hall. These two squads squared off in a tri-meet with Towson at West Chester's Sturzebecker Health Science Center on Feb. 13. The Bears ended a personal 29-meet losing streak to the Golden Rams with the program's first win over West Chester since 2015.
Ursinus scored a season-high 191.575 that evening and are in the midst of one of their best seasons in quite some time. The Bears finished second in that tri-meet with its triumph over the host Golden Rams. Both fell to Towson, who put up a score above 195, while both West Chester and Ursinus were in the 191 range.
The Golden Rams are looking to get back to their winning ways at the end of the month here with dual meets against Ursinus and then Bridgeport. That said, West Chester performed very well last Sunday in a tri-meet at Penn. The purple & gold put up their second-highest score of the year against two very tough programs. Head coach
Barbara Cordova will look to build upon that momentum and positivity as her squad closes out the month of February and heads into the final month of the 2026 campaign.
March will see West Chester compete in the Pink Invitational in the Philadelphia Convention Center, the GEC Championships and the WCGNIC National Meet to close out the season.

CHASING HISTORY
West Chester University head coach

Cordova now has 174-152 (.534) record in her 17+ years at her alma mater.
