PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- After seeing its season opener against Jefferson postponed due to inclement weather on Thursday night, the West Chester University men's soccer team (0-0-0) has shifted its attention to its next match on Saturday afternoon as the Golden Rams visit Holy Family (0-1-0) beginning at 12 p.m.

Five Things to Know
- West Chester will now open its season on Saturday afternoon in the City of Brotherly Love after yesterday's opener was postponed due to lightning and inclement weather.
- Holy Family opened its season in Millersville last night, falling to the PSAC East preseason favorite, Marauders, by a 5-0 final after conceding four second-half goals, including a pair of penalty kicks.
- West Chester holds a commanding 15-4 lead in the all-time series against Holy Family, winning each of the last 13 meetings, including a 2-1 win on Rockwell Field last November in a rescheduled game from early September. After a scoreless first half, Ryan Rauber (Homer, N.Y./Tully JR-SR) and Mason Clatterbuck (Conshohocken, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) scored twice in the span of five minutes to give West Chester a two-goal lead and the Golden Rams held on for the 2-1 victory.
- West Chester returns four of its top five scorers from last year, led by Maksym Komperda (Whitehall, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) who scored seven goals and assisted on another for 15 points on the year. The Golden Rams also return all four goalkeepers from last fall, including Jaden Howard (Townsend, Del./Middletown) and Alexi Amanatidis (Huntingdon Valley, Pa./The Shipley School), who split time in goal last season, playing to records of 4-4-1 (1.71 GAA) and 5-2-2 (0.78 GAA), respectively.
- Saturday's road trip to Holy Family is the first of five straight away from home as West Chester will visit Wilmington on September 5, Mercy on September 9, Shippensburg on September 12, and Millersville on September 16.
