NEWVILLE, Pa.- The West Chester University men's cross country team is preparing to return to action for its second meet, but first full squad meet of the season, on Saturday morning at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania. The first race of the day is due to begin at 10 a.m.

West Chester opened its season and a new era in Golden Ram cross country last Friday evening at the WCU Season Opener in Coatesville as the Golden Rams competed on their new home course, Plantation Field, for the first time.
Kyle Tracey (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) was one of a host of Golden Rams to make his collegiate cross country debut on Friday, and he finished first in 16 minutes and 58.0 seconds as one of four Golden Rams in the top five. Tracey was joined by
Aiden Schwartz (Allentown, N.J./Allentown), Dylan Rooney (Langhorne, Pa./Neshaminy), and Brendan Tester (Landenberg, Pa./Avon Grove) in the top five as they took third (17:51.7), fourth (17:57.2), and fifth (18:04.1), respectively.

West Chester will compete alongside Alvernia, Central Penn, Delaware Valley, Dickinson, Elizabethtown, Franklin & Marshall, Geneva, Gettysburg, Mary Baldwin, Marymount, Marywood, McDaniel, Shippensburg, and SUNY-Orange.
