NEWVILLE, Pa.- The West Chester University women's cross country team is preparing to return to action for its second meet, but first full-squad meet of the season, on Saturday morning at the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational at Big Spring High School in Newville, Pennsylvania. The first race of the day is due to begin at 10:45 a.m.

Meya Ranges (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) led West Chester in its first meet of the season and first meet in program history at Plantation Field in Coatesville, which will be the Golden Rams' new home course throughout the 2026 season. Ranges paced the 5K field in 19 minutes and 55.5 seconds as one of five Golden Rams in the top five. She was joined by
Milla Scalise in second (21:001.1),
Elisabeth Bordner in third (21:40.8),
Carolyn Shadrick in fourth (22:38.4), and
Claire Doherty in fifth (22:46.8).

West Chester will compete alongside Alvernia, Central Penn, Delaware Valley, Dickinson, Elizabethtown, Franklin & Marshall, Geneva, Gettysburg, Mary Baldwin, Marymount, Marywood, McDaniel, Shippensburg, and SUNY-Orange.
