Nadia Mulder (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) excelled this weekend, including a school record with a 297.75 score off the 1-meter board on Saturday. Mulder broke four-time All-American Cynthia Hiester Richards’ record that has stood for nearly 40 years. Richards was inducted into West Chester’s Hall of Fame back in 2008 for her success. The freshman took home top honors in both the 11 and 6 dive 1-meter competitions. As a result, Mulder qualified for the NCAA’s in both events. Mulder also scored a 493.5 in the 3-meter springboard competition to bring home a win for West Chester on the second day of the TCNJ meet Sunday afternoon.
