Reilly Gearhart (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) had a strong week for West Chester as she bounced back from a challenging week last week with a pair of complete-game shutout victories over rivals Millersville and Kutztown. Against Millersville, Gearhart surrendered just five hits while striking out six to improve to 11-6 on the season. Opposite Kutztown on Saturday afternoon, Gearhart led the Golden Rams to a crucial split and season series victory as she went the distance once again scattering five hits while fanning three Golden Bears to improve to 12-6 on the year and giving West Chester a huge PSAC victory. For the season, Gearhart is now 12-6 with a miniscule 1.78 ERA both of which are good enough to lead the Golden Rams entering the stretch run of the 2019 season.
