EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. West Chesters attack accounted for 12 goals and 20 points as the second-ranked Golden Rams womens lacrosse squad showed little trouble with East Stroudsburg Thursday afternoon, 22-4.
Stephanie Kienle and
Jackie Baker each registered seven points and fellow attacker
Chrissy Kane posted six to pace West Chester (15-1, 13-0 PSAC). Kienle scored twice and added five assist, and Baker reversed those numbers. Kane also scored five times with one helper as the Golden Rams ran out to a 14-2 advantage by halftime.
Mary Beth Green recorded two saves in goal, playing the first 30 minutes. She allowed two goals.
Ally Livelsberger replaced Green in the second half and posted four saves.
Courtney Whiting scored twice and added two assists offensively, while
Kate McQuade scored twice and chimed in one assist.
The Golden Rams return to action on Saturday for Senior Day at South Campus Turf Field. Faceoff versus Slippery Rock is slated for 1 p.m.
